Site Director - Hilary Rush 

Hilary was born in London, England and came over to the U.S to study Psychology and Education at Northeastern University back in the 1990s.  She also has her Master's degree in Educational Psychology.  While at Northeastern she took on a part-time position with the Bowman Extended Day Program and never left!  She moved up from Teacher to Coordinator to Assistant Director and for the last four years she has been the Site Director of the program. Hilary has three teenage children; Taylor, Chandler and Cassie. In her free time she loves to spend time with her dogs and watch sports, especially hockey and football.


Brian Etheridge - Assistant Director (Estabrook)
Brian grew up in Woburn, played lacrosse in high school and graduated from Worcester State University in 2012. He previously worked in the Woburn public schools with students who have special needs and helped coordinate summer camp for several years at the James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club.  He loves playing sports such as golf, basketball, and lacrosse.  He also enjoys reading in his free time. Brian has also graduated with his Master's in Secondary Education and is very excited to be the Assistant Director at the Estabrook Lextended Day program.


Assistant Site Director - Scott Sanchez

Scott grew up in Winthrop, MA and currently lives in Easton, MA. He graduated from Salem State College in 2000 with a BS in Sports, Fitness and Leisure. With 20 years in the after school field, Scott most recently held the position as the Assistant Program Director of the Wellesley Community Children's Center where he worked for 12 years. As a former high school basketball coach and avid sports fan he still enjoys the opportunity to be active as much as possible. His hobbies include animated movie making, music production and spending time with friends. The majority of his time is spent with his wife and three young children.

Nikoleta Hatzis - Kindergarten Coordinator

Nikoleta grew up in Medford, MA. She attended Boston College, where she majored in History. In addition to Lextended Day, she tutor's in math and reading. She can speak Greek, and in her spare time likes to travel, hike, cook, read, and spend time with family and friends.  Her plan is to become a middle school teacher one day.

Amy Nowosielski - Kindergarten Teacher

Amy grew up in Woburn and lives there still with her fiancé and three young children. She has worked in child care in many roles such as a nanny and class room volunteer. Amy would like to be an elementary teacher one day. Amy also enjoys reading, spending time with her family and traveling. 

Lilian Lee - 1st Grade Teacher

Lilian grew up in Lexington, MA. She graduated with a BS in Early Childhood Education from Boston University. Lilian has a variety of experiences working with children as an after school teacher, student teacher, teacher’s assistant, camp counselor, and Jumpstart Corps Member. In addition to Lextended Day, she is currently a Kindergarten Assistant at Bowman. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, photography, traveling, and baking delicious treats.



Jaclyn Salamone - 2nd Grade Lead Teacher

Jaclyn grew up in Burlington Mass and has experienced living across the country in CA where she was a Nanny. She has been in the childcare field for 24 years with positions ranging from nanny, preschool teacher to after-school group leader. She is going on her fourth school year here at Lextended! Jaclyn also works as a Real Estate Agent and volunteers for many animal rescue groups. She loves traveling, caring for animals(especially her cat and hedgehog) and spending time with her family and friends. 

Whitney Simpson - 3rd Grade Lead Teacher

Whitney is from Eugene, Oregon, and recently moved to the Boston area. She works with our second-graders. Whitney studied history and English at the University of Portland, where she was active in the Honors Program, worked on the student history journal, and tutored writing. She has volunteered teaching and mentoring children for nine years and values being able to guide young people as they grow up. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, spending time with others, traveling, and drinking tea.

Malory Walsh - 4th Grade Teacher

Malory Graduated from Arlington Catholic High School in 2014 and currently living in Medford, Ma and studying Early Childhood at Middlesex Community College in Bedford, MA. As well as working at Lextended Day, Malory is a care giver for different families as well as her own.  Malory enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching and going to sports games (Patriots especially. ) She hopes to one day to become an elementary school teacher.

Jessica Howell - 4th Grade Teacher

Jess grew up in Newton, New Hampshire and recently moved to Medford, MA. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst where she studied Psychology and Education. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Moderate Disabilities at Merrimack College. Aside from working at Lextended Day, Jess is an Instructional Assistant at Clarke Middle School. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, interior decorating, and drawing.

Whitney Pierre -  4th & 5th Grade Coordinator

Whitney grew up in Lawrence, MA and is currently studying Human Services at Middlesex Community College in Bedford. Whitney has experience working as an assistant dance teacher at Helene Joy School of Dance in Middleton, MA and as an after-school group volunteer. She works with our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders here at Lextended and also teaches our students dance. Whitney enjoys working with children as well as spending time with her family and friends and traveling.

Brianna Bond - Floating Teacher

Brianna grew up on  Acton.  She attended American University where she received a degree in Health Promotion.  She continues her studies to become a Health Education Specialist. She enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, cake decorating, and dancing.


Leah Flannagan - Floating Teacher

Leah grew up in Billerica, Massachusetts and lettered in ice hockey and track. She is currently attending Southern New Hampshire University and will graduate in May 2020 with her Bachelor’s degree in Education. After Leah graduates, her plan is to attend graduate school and get her Master’s in social work and counseling to pursue her passion for helping kids and their families. In the summer she works for the Lexplorations program lead by Lexington community education. Leah loves to play and coach hockey, golf, and ski.
